After the last open mic at Pizzelle's Confections, we had an awesome community discussion where I basically laid out the groundwork for ideas and actions for the next six months. I had a real difficult time bringing this all together, because if you know me, you know I have a hard time asking for help. And I have a hard time admitting that I am running at an unsustainable pace. But in order for our community to thrive, I had to face myself and overcome all that nonsense and turn outward and be open to help.
The support that night truly moved me. You guys. I cannot express how humbled I was. Some days I feel so overwhelmed and wonder why I am pushing so hard for some efforts to go unnoticed but then, I saw you guys seeing me. Finally received the full scale of all of it, and I crumbled. Out Loud HSV is so lucky to have such support and safety in your hands.
Before I get wrapped up in all those emotions and shed some tears again, lets talk about productivity. The amazing Cara suggested I create a Trello board, containing all of the ideas and tasks and upcoming projects and needs. This way I have a space to put my thoughts, and you have a space to know what we need and lend a hand where you can. The internet is a vast wonderful place, and discovering Trello has rejuvenated me - THANKS CARA!!
So If you want to be part of it all, helping in any way from donating specific items to the studio or helping with upkeep or helping organize events or outreach or putting out posters or hosting events or or or. There are so many opportunities and my brain pours out more by the second SO if you want to be involved in the Trello board email me at outloudhsv@gmail.com and I'll send you a link and get you started on a direction.
For reals. I love you, I appreciate you, I kiss you all on the forehead and hug you with endless arms.
