Out Loud Academy: Traditional Publishing

Instructor/Lecturer: Lynsey Morandin

In this discussion meeting we will focus on the topic of traditional publishing. This means having your work published through a publishing house, whether it be one of the big 5 or a small, independent press, and the best way to go about doing this. We will also talk about structuring your query letters and how to find the best route for your piece.
This meeting isn't just for those of you who have written or are in the process of writing a full-length book. Feel free to come if you just want to learn about the industry in general. You DO NOT need to bring a writing sample to this meeting, but do come with a pen and paper as well as any questions you may have.
