Join us at the Out Loud HSV Studio on Thursday, August 25th for Write Now! A workshop designed to prompt writers to create a new piece and workshop that first draft. This workshop will focus on poetry, and is designed to help poets become more aware of the editing process by learning how to take an idea, put it on to paper, and polish it until it becomes a completed piece.

The first 30 minutes will be dedicated to writing off of a prompt given at the beginning of the workshop. Once everyone has their draft down we will share each piece with the group and work towards flushing out the idea in a group critique format.

Workshop costs $10 and is limited to 10 participants. Tickets must be purchased in advance by clicking here. Please bring writing utensils. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
