Burritt on the Mountain and WLRH 89.3, in conjunction with Out Loud HSV, presents “Stories Under the Stars”, a new storytelling series debuting May 4th.   The event aims to celebrate the longstanding tradition of storytelling by showcasing the history of our community members.  Grab a blanket and some lawn chairs and enjoy the sunset view during an evening of live storytelling and music.  Performing tales true to their recollection, CoffeeHouse Poets founder TC, storyteller Sara McDaris, performer Molly Pettis-Reid, astrophysicist Jonathan Cirtain, and one ‘wildcard’ teller will contribute to the theme of “it happened under the stars” with a story of 5 minutes or less.  If you have a true story to tell that fits the theme, put your name in the hat for a chance at our wildcard slot!  One performers wins a WLRH underwriting package for their favorite non-profit group. 

Local anchorman and author, Greg Screws, will close out the show with a featured performance.  Food and drink will be available throughout the evening for purchase.  Admission is $10.  We hope to see you under the stars at Burritt on the Mountain May 4th!
