Join us on October 8th from 10am-2pm for the debut of works by artist and poet Kristy Jane From-Brown in the Out Loud HSV Studio. Meet the artist and hear a live reading of her poetry at noon. Coffee and light snacks will be available.

Kristy Jane From-Brown was born in 1977 in Long Island, New York. In 1999 she received her BFA from the University of South Alabama. From-Brown’s poetic paintings and small sculptures act as a catalyst for her poetry.This year she is the President of the Alabama Women’s Caucus for Art and has her poem, Savory, featured in the Fall issue of Hypertrophic Press. Upcoming shows include the Moss Rock Festival and Magic City Arts Connection. From-Brown lives and works in Huntsville, Alabama.
