Join us the second and fourth Sundays of each month for an action packed hour long poetry slam! Poetry slam is designed to engage both poets and audience, where participants are judged by members of the audience to advance rounds until a winner is chosen. The winner of each event will receive glory and celebration, along with a $10 roll of quarters provided by our sponsor, Karma Rags.

Poets, these events are open sign up, so if you would like to compete just bring three poems and show up early to assure you have a space. Each piece should be no longer than 3 minutes or points will be taken off your score. No props, no costumes – just you, the mic, and your words.

All donations will go directly to the Flying Monkey Theatre for use of the venue.
