On September 13th at 6pm we’re hosting an online open mic followed by a feature with DeMarie! You will need to RSVP via email to outloudhsv@gmail.com in order to receive the private Zoom link. If you want to sign up to read, include that in the email. There will be 8 open slots. We’ll continue to run on a first come first serve basis, so email soon to get a spot! Readers will get 5 minutes MAX. to share their work.

About the feature: DeMarie is a poet from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. They are a young, gifted lyricist with an affinity for celebrating the beauty and complexity of themes like love, sexuality and Blackness.
